Shoot For Eggs Animals: Verified List, Egg Sources and Cash Roles
The verified Shoot For Eggs animals reference: every creature confirmed in gameplay footage, the egg documented to hatch it, its cash role, and the shoot–place–hatch acquisition loop — with explicit flags where the evidence runs out.
Every animal in Shoot For Eggs comes out of an egg. You shoot eggs scattered across the map until they crack, carry the cracked egg back to your plot before it despawns, wait out its hatch timer, and the animal that emerges stands on your base earning cash from then on. The Shoot For Eggs animal list below covers every creature confirmed by hatch or ownership footage, with the egg documented to produce each one and its observed cash role — plus the few entries that are verified to exist but have no documented source, which are flagged rather than guessed at.
How you get an animal
- Shoot an egg anywhere on the map to crack it open. Eggs have health gates that scale with their tier — an observed Magic egg had 20,000 HP, a Space egg 80,000 HP, and one egg in footage shows 9 billion HP — so stronger guns open bigger eggs. After buying the RPG, one player one-shots low-tier eggs outright.
- Place the cracked egg on your plot quickly. Cracked eggs despawn if they are not placed in time — one player lost an 80,000-HP Space egg this way ("you have to place them on your base within a time limit").
- Wait out the hatch timer. Observed timers: Epic 40 seconds, Devil 2 minutes, Space 3 minutes, Magic 7 minutes, large Strawberry 19 minutes; most other eggs took around 10–11 minutes.
- The animal appears on your plot and starts earning. Base space is limited — it fills up and can be upgraded — and you can remove low earners to make room for better animals.
The Shoot For Eggs animal list
Every animal below was confirmed in gameplay footage — either hatched on screen or shown owned on a plot — and its source column records the egg the footage ties it to. Cash figures are what the footage showed, not fixed rates.
| Animal | Documented source | Observed cash role |
|---|---|---|
| Ankylosaurus | Not documented — seen owned on a plot; hatch never shown | — |
| Bat | B egg; Cat egg | $3/s from the Cat-egg hatch |
| Bunny | Hatched from a separate egg in the large Strawberry batch (egg not identified) | — (unequipped as low value) |
| Caloridas | Epic egg, 40-second hatch | $156 |
| Capybara | Magic egg | — |
| Cobra | Cosmic/Space egg (small Cobra, 3-minute hatch) | — (a Legendary Triple-Head Cobra was also owned) |
| Crab | Jungle egg | $1 |
| Dragon | Large Strawberry egg (19-minute hatch); small Dragon from a Lucky egg; mini Dragon from a Heaven egg | About +200,000 income in one session; named the top earner on one player's base |

| Giraffe | Mythic egg | — |
| Gold Chicken | Planet egg, 37-second hatch | — |
| Golden Retriever | Hacker egg | — |

| Horse | Cat egg | — |
| Hydra | Angel egg | — |
| Kangaroo | Small Strawberry egg; Mystery egg | $17 (small Strawberry hatch) |
| Kraken | Devil egg, 2-minute hatch (result labeled Secret); Hacker egg | Per-second figure unreadable in footage |
| Lizard | Jungle egg (small lizard) | No earnings observed; later sold |
| Llama | Six-Seven egg | — |
| Minotaur | Tiger egg (golden variant) | — |
| Pigeon | Hatched on screen; egg not identified | $2 |
| Polar Bear | Six-Seven egg | — |
| Pony | Common egg | — |

Note that the same egg type produced different animals in this footage: Magic gave a Frog and a Capybara, Hacker gave both a Kraken and a Golden Retriever, Six-Seven produced a Polar Bear and a Llama, Heaven a mini Dragon and a Sphinx, and Strawberry both a Kangaroo and a Dragon. Each pairing above is a result that actually appeared, not a guaranteed drop — eggs draw from a pool.
What animals earn on your plot
Every animal you own generates cash automatically, and the footage shows a clear scale ladder: the small tier (Hamster, Crab, Snail, Pigeon, Frog) earns $1–$3, a Kangaroo earned $17, a Caloridas $156, and Dragons sat at the top — one player credited a Dragon with about +200,000 income, and another called it the biggest earner on their base.
Treat these as single-session observations from two gameplay videos, not fixed rates: several on-screen figures were garbled (a Bat appeared as "$23/$200", and the Kraken's and one Dragon's per-second values rendered as "$000"), so only clearly spoken numbers are listed. Rates may also shift with animal size, mutations and game updates, so recheck values in game.
Animals are also disposable assets. One player sold a lizard, a horse, a Caloridas and a bat together as a lump sum of $3,000,000 — enough to attempt a rebirth and buy new guns. Selling is how you manage space, too: with a full plot, that player removed every animal earning under $50 (the Hamster/Crab/Snail/Frog tier) and kept the $50+ animals like Cobra and Minotaur. For the wider economy around this loop, see the money guide, and the plot guide covers base upgrades and space.
Rarity, size and mutation labels
Eggs carry visible rarity labels — Common, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Transcendent (described in footage as the game's strongest eggs) — and the Kraken that hatched from a Devil egg carried a Secret label. The official game description confirms that rarer eggs, animals, sizes and mutations exist beyond the base set. Variants show up directly in the list above: a golden Minotaur from a Tiger egg, a Gold Chicken from a Planet egg, an owned Legendary Triple-Head Cobra, and one owned animal displaying a gold mutation. An animal's size variant (like the small, mini and large Dragons) is equally visible but follows its own system — this page only keeps these as identification labels. The dedicated pages cover the systems: egg rarity, animal rarity, and animal mutations.
What this list does and doesn't confirm
This is a footage-verified list, not an official complete index — no source shows an in-game collection menu or a total animal count, so treat it as "everything confirmed so far" rather than "every animal in the game". Three creatures are verified to exist but have no documented source and are flagged as such: the Ankylosaurus and the Wyvern appear only as owned animals standing on plots, and one high earner from the first hatch batch showed a $2,000 figure but was never named clearly enough to list.
Two more gaps matter if you're hunting a specific animal: no source documents map locations or spawn zones for any egg type (the only official location statement is "shoot eggs across the map"), and a "Solar Event" option visible in the menu leaves open whether limited events add temporary animals. Finally, animal names here are transcribed from the videos' spoken audio via Hindi and Bengali auto-captions, so spellings like "Caloridas" are approximate — the creatures themselves are unmistakable on screen.
With the roster in hand, the animal hatching guide breaks the shoot–place–hatch loop down step by step if you want the full mechanics behind it.
