Shoot For Eggs Locked Guns: The Rebirth-Gated Guns and How to Unlock Them

The verified list of Shoot For Eggs guns locked behind Rebirth — Flame Thrower, Sniper, Grenade Launcher, Mini Gun and RPG — plus the exact unlock route from cash to purchase, and how to confirm a gun is unlocked.

In Shoot For Eggs, five guns cannot be bought with cash alone: the Flame Thrower, Sniper, Grenade Launcher, Mini Gun and RPG. They form the "locked guns" tier at the top of the gun shop, and the game's official How to Play list states the gate in one line: "Rebirth to multiply everything and reach the locked guns." The unlock requirement is therefore the same two-step route for every gun in the tier — complete a Rebirth, then buy the gun with cash. Rebirth opens the shelf; money buys the gun.

Which guns are locked behind Rebirth

GunUnlock requirementPrice
Flame ThrowerComplete a Rebirth, then buy with cashNot shown in available sources
SniperComplete a Rebirth, then buy with cashNot shown in available sources
Grenade LauncherComplete a Rebirth, then buy with cashNot shown in available sources
Mini GunComplete a Rebirth, then buy with cashNot shown in available sources
RPGComplete a Rebirth, then buy with cash$5,000,000 — Mythic level, described as the strongest gun in the game

The only price any source shows for this tier is the RPG's $5,000,000. The five names come from a recorded playthrough where the narrator read them straight off the shop shelf right after his Rebirth went through, so the list is verified for that run — neither game description claims it is the final word on every gun in the game, and whether anything exists beyond the RPG is not stated anywhere.

Where the cash ladder ends

Everything below this tier is an ordinary cash purchase. In the recorded run, the shop ladder read Slingshot ($2,000), Flintlock ($3,000), Revolver, Musket, MP5, Crossbow ($18,000), M16 ($27,000), P90, AK-47, Blaster and Plasma Gun — guns that are only ever "locked" while you lack the money. The player bought the Plasma Gun while holding $3,000,000, and the very next rung read Lever Action Rifle, followed by the label that draws the line: "बाकी के लिए रिब्थ चाहिए" — "the rest need Rebirth."

That in-shop label is how you find the boundary in your own game. The Lever Action Rifle itself is the one ambiguous case: it was named immediately before the "rest need Rebirth" line but never bought, so it cannot be placed on either side of the gate.

How to unlock a gated gun

  1. Earn cash in normal play. Shoot eggs across the map, hatch them into animals, place them on your plot, and collect cash from every animal you own. Selling low-earning animals frees up plot space and tops you up — in the recorded run the player went from $62 to $3,000,000 this way. The money guide and damage guide cover the earning and training loop in detail.
  2. Buy up the cash ladder to the Plasma Gun, the last clearly cash-buyable rung (around $3,000,000 in the observed session).
  3. Read the gate in the shop. Rungs past that point are labelled as requiring Rebirth rather than showing a plain purchase.
  4. Complete a Rebirth. No source states an actual threshold or cost; Rebirth was merely available to attempt once the player held about $3,000,000 in that one session, so treat that figure as a single observation, not a published requirement. If the button ignores input, it may be a glitch — in the video the Rebirth button failed to respond once and worked normally later in the same session, so keep playing and retry instead of assuming the requirement is unmet.
  5. Buy the gated gun with cash. After the Rebirth the narrator could buy "the new guns," and money was coming in fast enough that he soon afforded the RPG's $5,000,000 price. What a Rebirth keeps or resets (cash, guns, animals) is not spelled out in any available source.

How to tell the unlock worked

You can confirm any gated gun in three visible checks: after the Rebirth, the rung stops being labelled Rebirth-only and shows its cash price; the purchase goes through; and the gun equips and fires in normal play. The RPG showed all three — bought at $5,000,000, shown equipped, and one-shotting every egg the player hit for the rest of the session.

What to recheck after updates

Unlock thresholds and prices can change in any patch, and every number on this page comes from one recorded session plus the shop shelf as read in it — including the ~$3,000,000 mark and the RPG's $5,000,000. After a game update, re-read the gun shop: its Rebirth label and current prices are the ground truth. Patch changes are tracked on the updates page.
